I am 29 yrs old and i started attending vbf in 2001... at first i was afraid of the church it was so different from how i was raised. I attended again about 3 months later and was hooked... i have invited every friend and family member i have to church with me. I am married and have two wonderful children... At first my husband did not wan to to attend a church because he was not raised in a church, but he started to see a change in my life and he started attending with me after about 3 months of me going continously. He became hooked too! We drifted off after about 1 year of attending regularly and we both became lost in our lives and let it get out of control. We were living in the world life and not the godly life. We attended on and off but do to my jobs i have always had to work wednesday night and sunday morning! it was horrible! I have changed jobs and we have been regularly attending now for almost a year again, my husband really fell off and was letting the devil run his life .. he was partying and drinking and just not having a care in the world! He loved us and provided for us , but did not lead us back to church... so i took the next step to lead me and my children back into the church! With some prayer from pastor clark and me keeping in prayer and telling my husband god loves him and that he needs to get back in church he finally did! He is a whole new husband and father! He loves the lord with all his heart now and it has made our life wonderful!! VBF has DRASTICALLY changed our lives and we want to thank the people of vbf for being there to give a smile for the days we were in need and for sending us encouraging letters when we first came to the lord! Pastor Ron and Jim are great ! They TRULY are a blessing in our lives! Pastor Clark has been a blessing too! He always has a big smile and takes time to say hi when he sees us and ask how we are doing!! We are looking to get more involved in the church... so drop me a line if there is anything i can do for the church!
