Hi, my name is Shawnna. I have been attending Valley Bible Fellowship for just over four years. I have been saved since I was five years old, but I got way off track a number of years ago. When I redicated my life I started looking for a solid church. I tried a few that were perfectly fine, but not where God wanted. I was invited to Valley a few times by different people. It took a little bit of time but I finally listened. I am so thankful I did. I have four children and one grandson. Shelina (18) who has a son Dustin (3). Joshua (17), Timothy (15), and Sandra (12). I thank God everyday for them. The older three are from my first marriage. They lived with their dad and step mom for about eight years. My youngest is from my second relationship. She is one of God's blessings that helped me come to my senses and get back to putting God first in my life. Without her I don't think I could have overcome the guilt that satan was using to keep me under his thumb. The older three came home to me six years ago. Life has been and blessing and many challanges ever since. Like the judge asked me in court "Are you sure you want them back now, they are almost teenagers?". No doubt in my mind I wanted them back. I went back to school to be able to work in an office, I got a job at the court house. I liked it all except having to hand out divorce papers. I started noticing that I was having problems with anxiety and didn't want to deal with it. Well God had other plans, I was dealing with migraines and back issues. I lost that job because I was having migraines constantly, almost daily. God knew what he was doing there also. I now had the time to attend counseling and be home when my daughter (who was 15 at the time) had her son. I also was able to help with vacation bible school that summer. I still deal with migraines and had major back surgery almost two years ago. I now care for children in my home and started my own business (not going to far to quick) making jewelry. I am now able to homeschool my daughter and am very grateful for that opportunity. It was something I wanted to do for years, but it wasn't until God had his hand on it that it came about. Well that about covers me and mine. Except to say that I have a wonderful family that I love very much.
