Medium old guy who leads a pretty quiet life with my wife, Linda, and 3 dogs. I have 10 grandkids between the ages of 1 month and 12 years. I grew up in Wisconsin and still miss winter (what we got around here is NOT winter)! I work for the post office. I've been a member of Godfrey 1st for over 30 years.
Interests
History (American, military, and railroad history especially),chasing and photographing trains, music and kids (they are our future...for an old jaded guy like me, I find their outlook and positive energy exhilirating).
Movies
Favorites are: The Shawshank Redemption, Saving Private Ryan, and Band of Brothers (that last one really is an HBO series...but close enough).
Music
Classical, rock, alternative...pretty much anything except for rap and hip-hop.
Books
Lord of the Rings trilogy and old classics like Charles Dickens, etc.
Television
CSI, CSI New York, Cold Case...hate the sitcoms!!!
So are you glad Linda made back from the big scrap book weekend? I hope she had lots of fun. It is always great scrapping with her she is soooooooooooooooooo creative.
So you & Linda thought I was old enough to have pictures in black & white. I'm hurt :( sniff sniff. I guess I will slowly get over it or you could make it up to me somehow :)
