Hi, My name is Wes, and I currently sing and play bass guitar in the Contemporary Worship Service at First United Methodist in Ft Walton Beach, FL. The name of our band is Balaams Donkey. The name is taken from a bible scripture in Numbers 22:23. I started playing music when I was in 2nd grade. I played trumpet for 15 years and have been very active an many aspects of music since then. I've played several different instruments and played and sang in several rock bandsgrowing up. I have been blessed to have found the best church ever and I spend as much time as I can volunteering on the many areas of need around the church. I enjoy doing mission work with the Youth Group such as the Inner City Mission and the Underprivleged Childrens Christmas Ministry. It is my daily goal to make sure that I have made a positive difference in someone elses life. My favorite bible verse is Phillipians 4:13 " I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me".
