Terry was born and raised in Worthington, Minnesota and Marilyn was born in Ft. Knox Kentucky and raised in Holland, Michigan. Terry and Marilyn met in Austin, Texas airport when Terry was on his way to his second semester at a Spanish language school for missionaries and Marilyn was headed to Mexico to see where God wanted her. They married in Dec of 1979. Their honeymoon was the trip to live in Mexico and they spent 5 more years there (Terry had already been there 1 1/2 years). Their first three children were born while they were in Mexico. In 1985, they moved to Spain, where they have lived since. Eric and Megan were born while they lived in Valencia, where they were involved in church planting. In 1994, they moved to Madrid to work with YWAM and help lead the Discipleship Training Schools. During the next 7 years, they led 15 schools. Through a course in the schools for inner healing, they became acquainted with Family Foundations and the Ancient Paths seminars. As they began to do the seminars around Spain, interest grew to such a point that in 2001, they went full time with that ministry. They are the national coordinators for FFI in Spain and helping plant the ministry in Holland, Belgium, England, Germany and other parts of Europe. One major thing has been overseeing the translations into Spanish and Dutch. They now have a home in Guadalajara, Spain and open it to couples and ministry people in need as well as friends and family!T
