Harvey with Jimmy Stewart is probably my favorite movie ever. I think it could definitely be taken as allegorical in a sense.

I don't actually have a television in my dorm room. I watch it every so often when I am home, but I am usually pretty busy and would prefer to spend my time with family or friends. When I do watch TV, it's usually The Office or What Not to Wear.
