HEAVENLY COMMUNITY
John 17:11 (NASB95) "I
am no longer in the world; and yet they themselves are in the world, and
I come to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You
have given Me, that they may be one even as We are.
Heavenly Community
has always been the goal of God. First between Himself and His creation
and then His creation with one another. Sharing life by the principles of
"Kingdom Living" by honoring one another, forgiving one
another, encouraging one another, helping one another, in other words loving
one another which is the esscence of this "Heavenly Community".
When we live in this kind of community we dwell on the mountain with God
sharing in the reality of eternal life.
Psalms 133:3 (NASB95) "...For there the LORD
commanded the blessing—life forever. "
This eternal life of knowing and experiencing God and then
sharing that life with others is the "Living Water" Jesus talked of.
John 17:3 (NASB95) 3
"This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only
true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
Heavenly Community is what the world is thirstying for. We
need to model this kind of community as we share life together and reach out to
the world, then the world will know that God loves them.
John 17:21 (NASB95) 21
that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me
and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe
that You sent Me.
