I first came to VBF when I heard that Brian Welch was saved and going to be speaking there in Las Vegas. A few weeks after that my friend Slushie told me about the college group, so I went with him and eventually started going all the time. I love to write and am working on compiling some of my writings into a book along with some illustrations. I'm going to school and probably wasting my dad's money, because I have heard my calling and I don't know if college will assist it or not. I run an annual Christian music festival called Faith Fest in a town south of Las Vegas where I grew up called Boulder City. Faith Fest has had two successful years in a row and will continue as long as I have the resources to make it happen. But even if it ceases my ministry will not. I play keys for a band called Never Silence. We use our talents to glorify God and we embrace the places He puts us in and try to use every opportunity to share the Love of Christ to our culture.
"When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power."
