When you're up against a struggle, that shatters all your dreams and your hopes have been cruely crushed by Satan's manifested schemes...and you feel the urge within you to submit to earthly fear, don't let the faith your standing in seem to disappear.....
Praise the Lord, He will work through those who praise Him Praise the Lord, for our God inhabits praise Praise the Lord, for the chains that seem to bind you Serve only to remind you, that they drop powerless behind you When you praise Him....
Now Satan is a liar and he wants to make us think That we are paupers, when he knows himself we're children of the King So lift up the mighty shield of faith for the battle must be won We know that Jesus Christ is risen and the works already done
Praise the Lord, He will work through those who praise Him Praise the Lord, for our God inhabits praise Praise the Lord, for the chains that seem to bind you Serve only to remind you, that they drop powerless behind you When you praise Him....

Have you ever felt like all hope was lost and all you could see was the ruins of the past and the disappointments of the present? If so, you are amongst friends. Life on earth is full of challenges, and it's easy to become overwhelmed by them. So, what should we do when we are feeling this way? Do you find it hard to believe that you can recover and be brought up out of the pit of despair? How should we respond when finding ourselves so hard pressed?
In Psalm 143:3 David said "For the enemy has persecuted my soul; he has smitten my life down to the ground....Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate."
David had his seasons when he felt this way, he sometimes felt discouraged, persecuted, smitten and forsaken. But he was always able to regain his strength, when he took time to encourage himself in the Lord. He would often do the following...
1) Remember the days of old - he encouraged himself by remembering those times and seasons when the hand of the Lord moved mightily on his behalf.
2) He never lost the heart of a worshipper in spite of his circumstances - he said "I will stretch forth my hands unto thee..."
3) He did not lean to his own understanding when trying to figure things out - he said "for in thee do I trust, cause me to know the way wherein I should walk..."
4) He always maintained a teachable spirit - He said "teach me to do thy will...lead me into the land of uprightness."
Let the worship warriors arise in this season and may the breaker anointing be released in your life for possessing your gates! Love and Blessings,
Mike

Immediately after Easter I noticed that we seemingly have entered a time that I refer to as, "a lull in the spirit". The word lull could mean any of the following... 1) to calm down - become quiet or less intensive; "the fighting lulled for a moment". I believe this brief lull is a strategic time for strategizing our offensive and for overall planning for the remainder of the year. Even in the political arena I sense that up till March 31st, that this is a very strategic time which will lead to some shifting in the political atmosphere that will release a greater level of 'favor' for those who are called for positions of leadership in our country. 2) calm by deception - "don't let yourself be lulled into a false sense of security - tranquilize". Although there may seem to be a lull in the fighting, we can't allow our spirit to be suppressed from manning our posts in prayer and watching. Our spirit man cannot afford to be silent and held in check, we must continue to build upon our momentum that we began with at the beginning of the year if we want to possess our gates in 2008. Let's not allow the enemy to tranquilize our faith and cause us to feel a false sense of security in our present circumstances. Of course we are secure in Christ regardless of our circumstances, but we must be vigilant (staying watchful and alert to danger and trouble) to maintain a defensive posture while strategizing our next offensive posture. Love and Blessings, Mike

| Often times standing between us and our calling are issues and obstacles that we must deal with in everyday life. Too often we think that we can never be used of God, until we are completely free from any of our issues or problems and have complete victory over areas that we struggle with. With this type of thinking, the enemy heaps condemnation upon us that leaves us feeling unworthy and inadequate. Yet, I want to stir you up by way of remembrance, that it's as we follow Jesus that "we become", into the person that we've been called to be. And in the process of "becoming", God still anoints us and uses us to bless others, even though we still have some issues that we are dealing with and working through. Don't disqualify yourself because of your past or present issues. Look at the story of the Prodigal son. In this story, even though the younger son behaved himself unwisely and lived a riotous lifestyle for a season, when he came back home to his Father's house, his Father did not "disqualify" him or take his sonship away from him. Instead he reached out with arms of love and compassion and restored to him, the honor and recognition of sonship! Now that's why the gospel message of reconciliation and restoration, is good news!!

| In 2008 the Father has purposed to release a "fresh fire" from Heaven that will purify, sanctify, and revive the stones within the church, so that once again we will become "lively stones" in the building, knit together in love, joined together by Spirit, and built up in Him by a determined faith that says all things that the Father has purposed to accomplish in and through me, He will surely bring to pass. This fire will once again sit upon His chosen, marking them as His own and enduing them with a fresh fire that will fill them with fresh revelation for understanding His purpose in this season. This fire will impart to those who are truly hungry an anointing that will propel them into the next level of His divine purpose and calling upon their lives. So the Lord says, get ready for this fresh fire that will bring about the transformation and reformation that is needed in the lives of my people that will prepare you for the battles that must be fought and must be won over the course of this year says the Lord!
