BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
Pastor LaNita is the Senior Pastor of Reconciled Christian Fellowship. She is the wife of Gerald Monroe and the mother of two adult children, step-mother to four, and an adorable grand-daughter.
Raised in the Bronx, NY, Pastor LaNita began her Christian training as a child. After being delivered from 12 years of drug usage, she gave her life to the Lord as an adult. Baptized in 1987 she began her service to the Lord by teaching Sunday School. Later she co-founded Shining Light Ministry, a ministry dedicated to leading people out from the horrors of substance abuse and into the careful and loving embrace of Jesus. She was successful in assisting other area churches form substance abuse ministries. In 1994, she was licensed to preach the gospel at Union Baptist Church of Stamford, CT by Rev. Dr. Robert W. Perry. In 1997 after 10 years at UBC, she was led by the Spirit to leave her home Church and covenant with Bishop Wayne L. Powell and the Strait Gate Church of Mamaroneck, NY. There she headed up the Media Sales and oversaw the Single’s Ministry. In 1999 Pastor LaNita and her family moved to Pasadena, CA to attend Fuller Theological Seminary where she studied Theology. While in the Los Angeles area, she worked with Bishop W. Todd Ervin at One Lord, One, Faith, One Baptism Christian Church of Long Beach as the New Member teacher and associate minister. She later went on to fellowship with Rev. Lonnie L. Dawson and New Mt. Calvary MBC in Los Angeles, CA. There she continued to develop and share her gifts in teaching and preaching. Pastor LaNita and husband moved to Charlotte, NC where they have founded Reconciled Christian Fellowship. Bible studies are held weekly on Wednesday evenings at 6p. Reconciled Christian Fellowship is planning to fully launch and have weekly services on Sunday, September 7, 2008.
Pastor LaNita Monroe is a preacher, teacher, and conference speaker. This dynamic anointed woman of God has blessed and ministered in churches and conferences across the country. Her ability to reach the lost, heal the wounded and the hurting is evident that she is approved, appointed and anointed to bless God's people.
