I am a woman on a journey. I have come a long way in the past years. I began life as a preacher's daughter and had many adventures in that phase of my life. I married a preacher and raised 4 children within a conservative religious setting. As I matured and studied I began to find differences in what I had lived and what I was reading. Since then, I have been studying and discussing about comparing our current religious practices with what we read in the New Testament. I am the owner of a couple of active email lists where we have lively discussions. I am looking forward to sharing and learning here from Christians who may not see things the same way I do. I think I might have a thing or two to add, also.

Interests
I have always enjoyed a lot of different things. I like being outside and have always enjoyed a lot of walking - both for health and enjoyment. I like to work in the yard. A lot of my time now is spent with my 3 dogs - 2 pugs (Butch and SuSu) and a Jack Russell named Missy. Check out their pictures! I like discussing Bible subjects and really enjoy others who do - both in email and face to face.
I have loved to write and have had articles published in various magazines - mainly religious. Email has enabled me to continue writing and I have really enjoyed it.
Movies
I don't go to movies much.
Music
I love singing alto in 4 part harmony music.It has always been a huge part of my life. I enjoy listening to traditional country music.
Books
I used to read more than I do now. I especially loved non-fiction, historical books. Josephus, Martin Luther, church history, as well as Texas history were my usual. Throw in Woman's World magazine and a true life murder mystery now and then. Most of my reading now is done through email.
Television
I enjoy TV shows on Discovery Channel, TLC and Court TV as well as the news when something's going on.
