I would have to say, I am very pleased to have logged onto my mychurch account like 2 months or so late and find a happy birthday note from you. What is even cooler I think is when I look at my comments and notice that not only this year, but exactly one year previously on my comments it was you who sent me a happy birthday comment...I would have to say...thank you very much for remembering, keep on challenging us, for those unashamed for the gospel, it will spark a flame that cannot be put out or hidden! Every sunday I seem to find God speaking to me through your words, showing me simple ways to be a better man of God, showing me how to further my life in Christ...once again...thanks

Yep, it was amazing!  I knew God was guiding me through it, it felt great.  I shared my testimony with him first & then he shared some of his past, which he loves to talk anyway!  Then asked if he had read in his Bible the verse Rom. 3:23 & went through the verses like we learned in Share Jesus Without Fear.  The second one, Rom 6:23, he said was an eye opener for him.  So, we went through all of them & talked some more, & I asked if he had ever prayed for Jesus to be in his heart & he said he didn't think so.  So I asked him if he would like to do that then & so we did.  I spoke the prayer & he was silent, but he said he said it & that he believed Jesus was in his heart.   He went to a Lutheran Church I believe growing up, & said was confirmed at 14.  He's concerned about his two sons who he knows aren't saved, so said I would pray for them.  His wife is named Ruth & now has a hard time speaking as well as hearing.  I prayed with her one day there in the nursing home, not to receive Jesus, but just prayed for them.  I'm hoping Bill will share with her his decision,  because it's hard to talk to her, but he does, naturally.  Anyway, that's pretty much it.
