There is a "living body" at Novesta. By this I Mean that the body is alive and trying to thrive. When things need to be done the church pulls together to help out. I am thankful for being a part of the church that is ready and willing to grow, in numbers, but more importantly in our walk in faith together as a ministry to the community. 5th quarter brought in 170 youth (depending on who you ask :) to hang out and have fellowship, that is awesome! 1 Thes. 5:11 is a great verse for this church, because that is what I felt throughout the summer as an intern and still feel today as I am back to school. YOU are the church, I am the church, WE are the church together...How true that is at Novesta. We are begining to turn the page and enter into a new chapter at Novesta and I look forward to somehow being a part of it. I love you guys!!! In HIS service, NEV

It has recently been put on my heart to pray for the young adults in our community.  They have many struggles to face finding their way in life. Please take a moment and include them in your prayers.  Pray that they make good decisions and avoid peer pressure.  Pray that thier needs are meant and they find happiness with a good job and life long mate. I know we all have our struggles but every prayer can help, God listens.

Good Monday Morning Novesta Friends & Family!

Just a quick note to remind you all to check out all the awesome events going on in our newsletter this month, as well as checking out the new sermons if you missed them, new pictures if you haven't seen them, etc.!  Also, I felt like sending an encouraging note concerning Spring...we're in the home stretch! WAHOO!  Yes, there's snow in the forecast for the week, but this past weekend was an encouragment to me as it was BEAUTIFUL!  It's an amazing month to begin thinking about warm weather, flowers, green grass...and best of all...our Savior's Ressurection!!!  Have a wonderful day!  ~Kristy Speirs
