About Me

My name is Jennifer. I'm an OB (officer's "brat") but I am not a brat so you could say that I'm an OK (officer's kid). I am currently in college in Berea, Kentucky and attend a baptist church while here. My parents are stationed in Pensacola, Florida. I'm a junior (credit wise a senior) religion major and philosophy minor. My major concentration is Biblical Studies and have taken an intro to the New Testament class and currently an intro to the Old Testament class. I have one older brother who lives with my parents, I'm more of the independent type more so than he is. I'm a graduate Corps Cadet, a Commissioner Sunbeam and a General's Girl Guard. I completed Jr. Soldiers as well. I plan on attending the EBC (Evangeline Booth College, aka the Training College or CFOT) in the fall of 2009... don't really know what to do during the summer between then and graduating from Berea (aka next summer, I am trying to take a study abroad class through my college that will be going to Germany, the Czech Republic, and Poland to visit some of the Holocaust camps). This summer I will be working at Camp Keystone, a Salvation Army camp in Florida, as a female counselor.

Interests

My mom has gotten me into card making and scrapbooking. I am creative and love to work with my hands. I love movies and music. I love to write, especially creative writing. I currently work for my college's public relations department as a writer for the college's magazine. My inspirations for writing come from dreams that I've had or other personal experiences. I've tried my hand at writing a play, it's still rough and I really don't have time to smooth it out right now.

Movies

i like a lot more than just this... i don't have time to find them all.

Music

same with the movies, there are more just don't have time.

Books

Television

College students don't have time for television. It's classes, work, homework, studying for exams, and squeezing in time to spend with friends. Quality time with friends is more important than TV. Though it's completely different when I'm at home :)
