About Me

I was born in Detroit, Michigan approximately 44 years ago (yes, I KNOW you thought I looked older than that) and lived there until 1994 when my gorgeous wife, Kim and I relocated to Springfield, Missouri. It was just the two of us then. And this year we celebrate twenty three years of wedded bliss.

In 1997 we were blessed with our only daughter, Cassandra. She's a great kid and we love her to death. And she's not spoiled at all.

I've been in full-time ministry for nearly twenty five years. We've been at Graceway since 1995 (four years as associate pastor and seven years as senior pastor) and we're having the time of our lives serving Christ and the church family.

I have two brothers -- one lives in Wisconsin and works in the auto industry and the other lives in Florida and works in the education/software field. My father is retired and lives in Michigan. My mother and stepfather live in Missouri and are members of Graceway.

I enjoy riding my motorcycle, spending time with my family, and teaching the Word of God.

Movies

You've got to wade through a bunch of junk to get to the few good movies being produced... so I don't watch very many movies. But I do appreciate the classics like Gone With The Wind, Cassablanca, and Napoleon Dynamite.

Music

I enjoy all kinds of music, but the best is what I hear performed by the Graceway singers and musicians every Sunday. Oh, and I will give a shout out to Elvis, Johnny Cash, Bob Seger, and Jewel.

Television

Well, besides the Disney Channel which seems to be on constantly... and Kim's crazy reality shows, when I get a chance to choose for myself, I enjoy CSI, true-crime dramas, and educational programming. I will neither confirm nor deny that I enjoy Seinfeld reruns.
