I wanted to share the good news of what is happening at my church, Hillsborough Church of God. We are in Revival. Evangelist Mike Warwick is the featured speaker for these services. We have already had 1 week and we will begin our 2nd week on Sunday and go through Wednesday. If you want to have a move of God in your life, then you want to make sure you get to one or all of these services. God is moving in our midst. We've had people healed, delivered, saved, filled with the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. God is definitely doing great things! Come join us!

(Ok...the title of this blog is borrowed from a book by Jonathan McKee but I like it.)
"But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect." 1 Peter 3:15 (NIV)
With the mandate of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ, I wonder at times if how we approach people is a good or bad thing?!?
I mean, have we ever looked at 1 Peter 3:15 and understood that in our own lives we must do the following?
# 1 - Set apart Christ as Lord in our heart # 2 - Be prepared to give an answer for the hope we have # 3 - Share that answer with gentleness and respect
Meditate on this today and ask the Lord allow you to see yourself as He does in this regard. Ask Him to help you to always do what is right in His sight.
Have a blessed day!

God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God. ~ Matthew 5:8, NLT
Is your heart pure? If so, then God will bless you and you will see God.
But what does it mean to have a pure heart? It means that we are devoted to turn away from anything that could disract us from loving God with all that is within us.
Is that you? Is that me?
Let's evaluate our heart today!

You've probably heard about that program called "Clear" that allows you to get a pass to scoot ahead of others at airport security lines. Well, if you signed up for it, it's possible that your information might have fallen into the wrong hands. Investigators now say a laptop computer that contained personal information from some 33,000 travelers was probably stolen and returned, not just misplaced.
The Transportation Security Administration announced last week that it was suspending new enrollments into the Clear program after the computer disappeared. The day after the TSA announcement, the laptop reappeared in a locked cabinet in the same office.
At first the company that runs the Clear program said it didn't know if the computer was stolen, or just overlooked. Now, investigators are treating the disappearance as a theft

(UPI) - The U.S. Justice Department said Tuesday 11 people were charged in hacking nine major retailers, then stealing and selling credit and debit card numbers.
The scheme -- in which more than 40 million credit and debit card numbers were stolen -- is believed to be the largest hacking and identity theft case the Justice Department ever has prosecuted, the department said in a news release.
Of the 11 charged, three are U.S. citizens, one is from Estonia, three are from Ukraine, two are from China and one is from Belarus. One individual is known by an online alias and his location is unknown.
Among the charges filed were computer fraud, wire fraud, access device fraud, aggravated identity theft, conspiracy and crimes related to the sale of the stolen information.
The case "highlights the efforts of the Justice Department to fight this pernicious crime and shows that, with the cooperation of our law enforcement partners around the world, we can identify, charge and apprehend even the most sophisticated international computer hackers," Attorney General Michael Mukasey said during a news conference on the charges in Boston.
The indictment alleged that during the course of the conspiracy, the defendants got credit and debit card numbers by hacking into the wireless computer networks of major retailers -- including TJX Cos., BJ''s Wholesale Club, OfficeMax, Boston Market, Barnes & Noble, Sports Authority, Forever 21 and DSW -- and capturing the numbers, passwords and account information.
