My greatest accomplishment in life is trying to be a godly husband and father to my beautiful wife and four precious daughters. I have been married to my beautiful bride for almost 25 years now and it gets better as each day passes. I am a bi-vocational pastor of a small church in Wichita Falls, Texas and have been there for over 10 years now. I am a retired Air Force veteran of 23 years and proud to say that I served my God and my country. I have to say that I thoroughly enjoy preaching the Word of God. I look forward to digging into the truth and allowing God to show me the pearls hidden in plain sight. I enjoy reading books by Frank Peretti who is my favorite author. I also read Oswald Chambers "My Utmost for His Highest" every day during my devotional time. I do some woodworking and enjoy making things out of wood. The things that I love the most is spending time with my wife and girls. I have to say that God is allowing me to live "the dream" and I can't thank Him enough. I have three associate degrees, a bachelor's degree, and close to completing my master's degree in education. I have never been to seminary nor to I plan to attend (unless God says so). My favorite quote is "the road to greatness runs through humbleville." My daughters have often said to me "Dad, I know the road to greatness runs through humbleville but do we have to LIVE there!" God has a true sense of humor at times, that's for sure. There is no other place I'd rather be than in the midst of where God has me and my family. My favorite verses are Isaiah 40:31 & Jeremiah 29:11. I take a mission trip every year to New Orleans during the Mardi Gras season with No Greater Love Ministries. I have been going there now for 18 years and it has changed my life like no other event. God Bless all who read this! |
