Everybody has a situation. That's right. Even you. Maybe you find yourself having 2 or 3 "situations." No matter your situation, prayer can change it. Jesus said in Matthew 26:41, "Watch and pray that you enter not into temptation: the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak." Jesus knows how the weak flesh tends to ignore and leave out prayer. Jesus says in Luke 18:1, "Men ought always to pray and not to faint." Again he warns about neglecting prayer. But notice what Jesus says when we do pray. "Whatever you ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son (Jh 14:13)." Than he continues. "If you ask anything in my name, I will do it (Jh 14:14). He said anything. That must include your "situation."
Prayer changed Elijah's Mount Carmel "situation." Prayer changed Hezekiah's "situation." Prayer changed Paul and Silas' "situation. And prayer will surely change yours.

As we make our way out of some great revival services I can't help but think of the continuation of that wonderful refreshing. Talking about revival and renewal isn't enough. Abraham’s sacrifice of Isaac represents a faith that acts, not one that just talks. Anyone can say, “I trust the Lord,” but the raising of the knife to one’s most precious possession is the proof of that faith.
Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever hears these sayings of mine, and doeth them, will be like a wise man, who built his house upon a rock (Matt 7:24).” Jesus reminds us to go beyond hearing and into doing. James said, “Faith without works is dead (Js 2:20).”
It’s not enough to hear the commandments of God: we must do them. It’s time for believers to move away from a faith that just talks, and into a faith that acts. When we do, we’ll find God’s ram (provision) waiting in the thicket.

How do you spell Jesus? W-O-W. Jesus is always giving us those "wow" moments. Every day that goes by is another day that we are amazed and "wowed" by the great things that he does. I just wonder what will he do next that will cause me to say "WOW." Whatever it is, I know it's going to be great.

Revival starts this Sunday (Jan 27th) with Evangelist Aaron Waters. Bro Waters will be preaching the powerful Word of God and Sis Waters will be singing and playing the keyboard. I hope you have been praying. If there isn't any praying there won't be any providing. If you need God to provide try prayer. PRAY God will provide a true revival of change.
