Introduction:
Welcome to Plumbline Ministries home on the web. Thank you for visiting.Although the Lord gave me the name in 2001 the process of developing into the ministry that God wants has taken some time but then again what is time to God when a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years is like a day.
What is a Plumbline? Well, a plumb line is a line used in construction which has a weight attached at one end and is used to determine that which is situated at the highest point based to ensure that the building is being straight and at a right angle to the foundation.
That is exactly how our lives are supposed to be built. Built on the foundation of The Word Jesus Christ pointing to the highest point, God Almighty. That is my desire for everyone that I meet, and that foundation is built on our relationship, I mean a true relationship with Jesus.
Mini-bio:
David and his wife Dawn have been married for 15 years (July 24, 2008) and they have 5 children ranging in age from 7 to 19. For the past 7 years they have attend Refiners Fire Ministries Intl., in Ennis, Texas where David serves his Pastor, Cord Blankenship, in whatever ways needed. Some of those ways have been as an Assoc. Youth Pastor (Crossforce Assembly), Youth Leader, a Junior High Sunday School Teacher, a Sound Technician (which he still does from time to time as the need arises), an alternate bass player and currently as a vocalist on the Praise & Worship Team.
David has been a licensed minister with the IAF since 2001 and serves as a corporate trainer and recruiter for an international energy brokerage firm. He has helped in the mission/outreach field with Pastor Dick Davis of Lordsburg, NM. for the Lord's Living Water Lighthouse Community Outreach in 2007. David has worked with his friend Pastor Jimmy Ybarbo of Fishers of Men Ministries of Dallas with outreaches to the homeless community in downtown Dallas, both preached and taught Sunday School for Pastor Charles Ellis of The Plentiful House of Harvest in Plano, TX., along with speaking at various youth rallies and churches, as well as lead Praise & Worship in different venues ranging from small home groups, outreaches, to large corporate meetings.
David is a board member of Common Ground Ministries in Waxahachie, Texas, a ministry that reaches out to it's surrounding community by offering after school and summer programs to the neighborhood children; giving them a positive place to go, a place to get help on school work, develop positive character traits, and most importantly learn to build a lasting relationship with Jesus. He also serves as a member of Clergy with the Ellis County Detention Center in Waxahachie, Texas where he helps serve the chaplaincy with Praise & Worship, and by teaching/training, and preaching an encouraging, inspiring Word of God to lift up fellow believers. He also serves as an online Pastor with Unconditional Love Ministries in an awesome outreach to many walks of life via the internet. Which is the same way he utilizes this MyChurch website, as an out reached hand and heart of Jesus to the masses, uplifting, encouraging, teaching, training, discipling those whom the Holy Spirit draws.
What is on our heart:
Our desire to do more in and for the Lord.....
My friend of almost 8 years, John Hudson, and I have had a desire to do more for the Lord, we have tried the worship band thing (Ephes Dammim & Readysetgo) and have had a great time and great success in the Lord, however trying to gather 4-5 folks together on a consistent basis for practices and then ministry time has been quite challenging.
Over the past few months John and I have had more success and even greater rewards by doing more intimate settings in which just the two of us gather together with other believers and worship the Lord. These times have ranged from youth rallies to the more current home type gatherings. We are seeking other avenues to continue this move the Lord is growing. We have seen the gatherings grow from 9 to over 20 the past few times. The whole purpose of this time is to first fellowship, breaking bread and breaking down the walls that tend to separate us as believers and then come together in one mind and one accord to worship and seek the Lord of Host.
The gatherings are open to all denominations and people from all walks of life who desire to see the Lord God Almighty move in their lives and also for friends, family and loved ones who may not step foot into a church for what ever reason but will gather with friends to fellowship. Then, we, as True believers let the Agape Love of God shine through by building the relationships, breaking down the walls and barriers of clicks and by seeking the Lord in Spirit and in Truth so that those who may have never stepped foot into a church will be drawn in by the Love of God and the Ultimate Sacrifice of Christ accepting the refreshing, renewing, restoring salvation in Christ!
The one thing that we ask is that those hosting a gathering be in prayer and expect God to show up and accomplish what He desires in each life that will be present! We are not limited to homes and are more than open to doing what God desires whether in the home setting, hotel conference room, a coffee shop or even a special church service.
We simply desire to be a conduit to encourage others to a deeper, more intimate relationship with God through Christ while allowing the Spirit of God to minister through us and to us, as well as others during these times of intense Worship with Song, Word, Signs and Wonders. We prefer to minister on Saturday evenings and are currently booked on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month in our local area. The more local the area the better as we both have to work on the occasional Saturday, however we both love road trips (and grilling hotlinks on the engine manifold as we travel to our destination, hahaha, true story). Especially when the Lord is involved, so, we are not opposed to a well planned out trip.
We know this is something the Lord is building and our desire is to help start the gatherings as a compliment to the local church for the body of believers in that specific area, then raise up other leaders in those areas to do the same thus spreading the gospel just as the early church did in the book of Acts. If you need more information about us let us know. If you want to book a gathering give us a call and we can talk over the details. Also you can check out the websites below.

However, most of all, David simply thanks his Abba Father for having a plan and purpose for his life and for introducing him to his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and that He thought enough of him to do so!!!
want to know anything else send David a message or just give him a call.

update:
I am stepping out now, I am going to begin to move towards full time ministry and am open to ministering to whomever. However, I do have a family that depends upon me to provide just as I depend upon God to provide. He showed me that I have skills to help people and I have learned an industry that is ever increasing. Due to my experience I am able to help people save money on the electricity (or "energy" including natural gas in certain areas). I have established a way to compare what you may currently pay per kWh (kilo-watt hour) and then find a provider that saves you money.
So, instead of asking people to donate their hard earned dollars to help support another ministry I am simply asking you to give me the chance to compare you current rate and if I can save you money and you decide to change your existing provider to the one that I have found to be the least expensive or best match. (Now that is not to say that those that would like to give can not but I do not intend to work a ministry that continually ask for money.
If I can't find you another alternative for power and save you money then I do not expect to make anything. Further more it cost you nothing to change or to get the comparison. If you decide that you want to take advantage of the savings then we simply fill out the paperwork and your power supplier is changed and then I receive my income from the power company. No money out of your pocket (unless you just want to be a blessing)!!!
Also, if I am able to help out a fellow ministry (church, non-profit, etc...) I will give back a portion of what I make as a love offering to them. So take a look and give me a shout.
I can do both residential and commercial accounts and I have almost 4 yrs of experience in this market in multiple states.

Father, your word says that if any two shall agree as touching anything on earth, it shall be done by you. I come into agreement with David and his family that according to your word you will supply all their needs. I give you thanks and praise that you are the way maker for this family! Thank you for your divine provision as they remain faithful to the call that you placed upon their lives. Thank you Father, for opening up your storehouse and pouring out a blessing upon them that they cannot contain!
In Yahshua we pray, Amen! Have a day drenched in His Glory! Birdie
