Just the other day, I saw a woman struggling under a heavy loadAs others passed by in quick step, I stopped to inquire if I could lend a hand"Yes!" was her immediate reply, making room for my nimble handsStill others side stepped, not even bothering to say excuse me Miss or Ma'am In the heat of the day our load grew heavy, but we pressed on stillOur tongues silent yet our spirits in perfect harmony, knowingnessAs we saw the mountain looming ahead, we started praising our MasterYet others passed by oblivious, not aware a miraculous event they were near We climbed with hinds feet, our spirit and hearts soaring as our voices liftedWe prayed and gave thanks, our souls not even looking back to wonderWe moved gracefully, for our journeys end was looming near and dearWe gained joy deep down, for those wonderful words our ears itched to hear As the gates opened wide, our deposit we made with humility and joyThe souls inside jumped out happy, thankful for the servants guiding handsThe Master came, smiling as He approached the weary yet grateful imitatorsThen the words, "Enter in my good and faithful servants!" echoed in our ears Funny how those words stopped others who formally passed us byNow they looked on wondering what we had done to illicit this replyThey peered and prodded and one ventured to ask"Master, what is great about carrying a back breaking bundle up that mountain pass?" Our Master looked over and sighed as He gently replied"Oh! Perverse and faithless generation, just how long must IThe Great Commission, the Good Samaritan, the Two Commandments did you forget?These wonderful ones ministered with love, patience, kindness and happiness!"
