The Cross was beautiful this Easter.  Thanks to all that brought in flowers!  The garden ones were the perfect touch!  And thanks kids for decorating the balloons!  I believe Betty George provided the balloons and the air... and the kids (Shannon P., Jordan, Hope, & Paige) did the rest!

God Bless!

I think that was one of the best Palm/Passion Sundays in a long time.  What a great blend of music and readings!

I was so excited that my favorite Psalm 96 was read today!  It was like God was talking to me and letting me know... everything is fine!  What a nice way to start the week!

Also, Paige had a wonderful time at Confirmation Camp.  She found that it was a true blending of worship and friendship.  She was excited because she got to do the Joys & Concerns in that worship service and they sang Happy Birthday to a new friend!  What a blessing to have such a wonderful experience happen to my 13 year old!!!

If anyone can donate a baked good for Friday's Coffee House... just let Martin, Matthew, Sue or myself know.  We will be at the church Thursday night starting at 6pm'ish if you want to drop something off ahead of time!  This is a very exciting new thing... can't wait to see how it all works out! - Sabrina

It is so good to see so many folks joining interactive site!  Martin... I did mean the "Watch & Pray Vigil" that we do on Good Friday.  Getting a sign-up sheet is a great idea.  Starting early is always good!

Hi everyone. I'm on board!

Which Prayer vigil are you referring to Sabrina? The Watch and Pray vigil that we did last year on Good Friday?  If so, I really wish / hope more people would take part. I think it was a very surreal experience.  Honestly, all of that weekend was. The Maundy Thursday service was probably the most moving service I have ever been to.  If we are repeating the services as we did during Lent, I hope that others turn out to see what all of the changes in the Sanctuary were about.  That the Maundy Thursday service / Good Friday evening pulled everything together.  Yes, it was a bit theatrical (as some people complained about), but THAT is what kept my attention and THAT is what made the services for me.  I have never, before that week, gone to my friends and actually told them what a moving experience I had at church.  I mean, when I was telling people I was still getting choked up.  And I hope other show up this year for the Watch and Pray vigil.  It was not just a nice time to spend the night with friends from church getting to know each other more, but also the surrealness of spending my hour alone in the church watching over the cross and tomb.  Although I will admit it was a bit scary with nothing but the wind blowing and the roof making noises! I thought God was trying to tell me to get out! LOL
