My name is Rhonda Brown-Crowder and I am the wife of Evangelist Curtis Crowder. Curtis and I have been married for 6 years. We are joyfully celebrating the precious gift and miracle that God has given us this holiday season with the birth of our first child, Caleb Joshua Brown Crowder! He was born November 19th at 12: 59 p.m. and weighed 5lbs 7oz. He was 18 1/4" long. Since then he is growing steadily, gaining weight, and is making up for lost time!
The Lord has blessed me with many gifts and talents! I Iove to sing, write, dance, photography, speaking, and helping others. I also dabble with the keyboard some, and I love to work! I am a Type A personality and a workaholic.I have lots of energy and enthusiasm, and I love that feeling of accomplishment once a task or project has been successfully completed.
I grew up in a small West Texas town called, Coleman (6,000 people), and came to the DFW area to go to school at the University of Texas at Arlington. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations with a minor in Psychology, and am currently pursuing my Masters Degree in Professional Development through Amberton University in Garland, Texas.
Leadership and Development is one of my main passions in life! I love bringing out the best in people in the workplace and helping them to see that there is a leader in all of us - some are better and more gifted at it than others, but we all have something to contribute to the overall success of any team! I am currently the Director of Operations for a Call Center in Arlington, and have over 15 years of call center management experience. I specialize in start-up operations, change management, and service-to-sales transition.
I do my best to "walk the talk" each and every day in the workplace and understand and respect the value of Marketplace Ministry. I hold myself, and my team, to a high standard of performance and excellence. I plan to soon start a series of 'Learning To Lead' books focusing on Marketplace ministry leadership, from both the employer and employee perspective, and to outline the importance of doing your job in a 'Spirit of Excellence, as unto the Lord' each and every day.
I started my own non profit organization called "Second Chances" 5 years ago, and I volunteer and work with local shelters to teach basic interviewing, resume, and job seeking skills.
I am an AVID sports fan and I LOVE football!! The Kansas City Chiefs are my favorite team (my former brother-in-in law used to play for them), and I've had the privilege of going to many NFL games and meeting many well known players. I also like the Indianapolis Colts as well.
I am an intense, down to earth, loving and giving 'girlie-girl' who loves the Lord! My desire in life is to use all of the gifts and talents that God has given me to the fullest before I leave this world. I strive to be successful in HIS eyes and not in the eyes of man!
