Celebrating our 15th year, Refuge Temple Church was established by Bishop William L Bonner in 1993. Chief Apostle of the Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc, Pastor Bonner was lead of the Lord to build a edifice in the capital city of Columbia, SC.
Considered the "baby church" of the five he pastors, Refuge Temple (Cola) quickly took the helm of the organization becoming the Southern Regional Headquarters of COOLJC. Built on 12 acres, other facilities along with the Temple include a Retirement Center for senior clergymen, a Family Life Center with commercial kitchen, Lake Refuge, multi-unit apartment complex, domitories for students at the W.L Bonner Bible College (a fully accredited college) and the R C Lawson Library.
Refuge Temple is the "Church In the Heart of the City with the People of the City in its Heart". it is the church chosen by God for the blessing of multitudes.
