I am originally from Charleston, WV - yes a country gurl, born and raised! So I guess the 'southern belle' wasn't a real stretch. LOL. I came to MD by way of Ohio, Arizona and Georgia. I have been a member of New Psalmist since 1990. Today I serve in a few ministries - Becoming A Remarkable Woman Ministry, Fine Arts Ministry, and Prophetic Praise Liturgical Dance Ministry. I will forever be a member of the Chancel Choir, even though my status is 'inactive' - I sing from the pews now :-). I am a wife blessed with an awesome gift from God as a husband (De Von). We are the proud parents of four (yes 4) beautiful children (20, 16, 10 and 9) - they fill my life with joy.
I enjoy talking (ha ha), singing, dancing, acting, coloring and playing with Lego.And how about that, most of the things I enjoy - I can do right here at New Psalmist! There is no greater joy than doing what you love - for the Lord! It is truly fulfilling. Try it - you'll like it - no you'll LOVE it.
