Quotes
"When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."
-- C. S. Lewis

"You enter the extraordinary by way of the ordinary."
-- Frederick Buechner
+++++++
"Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting."
-- Seen on a professor's door
+++++++
"While people certainly come to church to receive clear moral guidance, they also come to engage in dialogue about difficult questions, and to find something that isn't readily available in the larger society -- a place where disagreement is handled gracefully and respectfully by people of shared religious values."
-- Henry G. Brinton

Robert,
Is there anyway to enlarge my picture on this website?  If it's going to be there it might as well be large enough to see!

Oh, Robert----I am SOOOOOO computer illiterate so I am having to learn how to operate this "My Church" stuff.  I'll get there eventually.  You said you need some information about me.  How do I get it to you????   HELP!!!  I'm so old and so "Underwood portable typewriter."  PLEASE be patient with my ignorance.  Pray for your elders (ME)!!  And a little respect wouldn't be out of order...Thanks...R
