Huh, there is so much that I can say and so much that I don't want to say. So here goes:
Have been a member of this church for maybe 13 years? Was born and raised Catholic (twelve years of Catholic education, four of which were at an all girls high school!). I spend many years away from the church. Did the the Hebrews not wander in the desert for 40 years? Well, I did too for almost that long - sometimes wandering is a good thing. Married to the same guy for 28 years. One child, Renee', who just went off to college at SFA (AXE 'EM JACKS!). I spend my daytime hours as a professional begger. Someone told me one time to say, "I give people money when they are sick or injured". I think I like that better than being a begger. Up until recently I spent my nighttime hours and weekends as an ATM machine and personal servant for the lovely Renee; Now that she is gone, not sure what I will be doing, but do know that my fast food bill will be greatly reduced (and hopefully my waist, thighs, and back bumper!) and hope I will get better service while shopping. I have a softheart for the underdog and young people that tend to appear to be lost (they are not lost, just undiscovered!). I'm big on flow.....ask me to run something and I will drive you crazy with the process and how things should flow. Renee' says I am OCD and very anal retentive (I told you there were things you DID NOT want to know!). I am computer illiterate(and like it that way) but street smart (this is why there are no pictures, graphics or backgrounds on this page--can't figure it out!). I am a Peace Corp reject (seriously I applied and they would not call me back!!). I'm a work in progress (which needs a severe overhaul!) looking for my place to serve. | | Music I don't really listen to music much. I'm a NPR (National Public Radio) junkie, love news talk radio, Dr Laura (I used to hate her, but now agree with her most of the time except when she is just being totally rude), Rush Limbaugh..any call in show for that matter, and Focus on the Family (hey, begging puts you in the car a lot!). | | Books I love biographies. | | Television I really don't watch much TV but when I do I like Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, any news magazine (20/20, Primetime, GMA, World News Tonight- - hey, I love news!), Two and a Half Men, The Class, Wife Swap, Super Nanny. I have recently discovered Pushing Daisys. It's kindof quirky
