Born in Cincinnati in 1955 into a Roman Catholic home. Born again in Cincinnati in 1974. Started going to church so I fell away by about 1978ish.
Stopped going to church by 1985 - more lost than ever. (Church vaccinates us against God)
Married in 1987.
By 2003, I'd completely messed up my life. Arrested for and charged in October 2003 with gross sexual imposition on a minor.
Born again again in November or December of that year. (Everything's a blurr during that time.)
Sentenced in April 2004 to 5-years probation.
Divorced in August 2004 (it was a busy year. My lawyer made a lot of money).
Remarried in February 2006.
Re-sentenced without due-process in 2007.
"He who has been forgiven much, loves much." (Jesus of Nazareth)

You cannot have victorious faith without hope. Hope says your tomorrow WILL be better than your today. When your past says "no," you can still rejoice because hope says "oh yes you can!"

Whatever issues you are facing today, ask yourself this critical question: “Is anything too hard for the Lord?” How you answer this question determines everything else in your life! Today meditate on "I can do all things through Christ," & really believe that you can. Only when you shake off the demons of depression & self-doubt can you really accomplish all God has in store for you. Choose to have a blessed life!

The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked. Reflection Take confidence in this, dear believer: in the very suffering of the righteous lies the mystery of gospel victory. Sure enough, Christ's church is sore oppressed upon this earth. Just as even He was—for a servant is not greater than his master. By His righteous suffering, our eternal victory was bought and by our suffering for righteousness's sake, we glory in that same victory! Though in our days upon this earth, we may indeed perish from starvation, that is not an end which we should fear. We ought look forward to the heavenly consummation of our lives—when at long last we will be truly free from famishment. When at long last we will no longer hold to the promises of unshakable victory by faith alone, but will apprehend such by unfettered sight! O come Lord Jesus, come!

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God–
not by works, so that no one can boast.
