I am an Army Vetern. Vietnam, 1966-1967 (combat). I live in Salem, Massachusetts A photographer and a hopeful artist (non-peo) I am divorced and have four children. All grown. Five grandchildren, with another on the way in June 2007.
I have been a student of The Shepherd's chapel for over 13 years. I have been blessed to have found them. The Lord led me to this church, I have no doubt. As many wonder who to believe. I did not trust Pastor Murry for a while. I knew, i wanted to hear the truth badley. I knew I had been shamed by wolves ib sheeps clothing. The Shepherd's Chapel has a website. In case you would like to check it out. It is on the airwaves all over the world. you can call them to check on the times they are on in your area. I record the program daily. they don't mess around teaching what makes them look good. I was surprised to find such a haven in this day and age. Just the word is taught. No puppet shows or bands to entertain you. Just pure church as Jesus intended!!
I am not going to claim I have leared from only one sourse. The Chapel certain sent me on a venture to find truth. Ther are many other great schalors. Some better than Dr. Arnald Murry. I hope this clears some peoples minds. As I have been told I am one of his followers. Nothing could be further from the truth. I follow Christ. I ask him to lead me daily in "His" will.
I was a young man in 1966 who saw a great deal of heavy combat. I was then a Catholic. At least I thought I was. But I did believe in our Lord and Faith. Yes, the Holy Sprit also. I give them credit for my ability to fight as our Lord took the fear from when needed. I guess the deepest time I thought I was going to die was one day when we ran out of ammo. (amunition) We could not pull back and my Lt being a fighting Ranger, could not understand why I stood off to the side. I prayed the Lord would help me die like a man, like a good soldier, as well as my friends. About one hundred in all. We did not know it at the time. But we were being over run by two battalions.We fixed bayonets. When the time came when we could all not barely hold our rifles up. I looked a Lt. Munden and he asked me if I was tired. Over the roar of the fighting. I shook my head yes. He just looked down and fired his 45 some more. Suddenly a "Gunship" appeared out of nowhere. Just by chance? What do you think??
