Hello Christian friends. I am Jerry Webb, pastor of Roberts Tabernacle CME Church here in Shelby, NC. A native of Pendleton SC, I am glad to say I am a good old country boy at heart. I love animals and long walks in the woods. My wife, Meldoney, a native of Jacksonville, Florida and a city girl through and through, and I have been married for 22 years. We have never had a fight(that I won)! Someone asked what do you look for in a spouse. All that I have ever found attractive in a woman is in this woman of God. She is kind, compassionate and supportive. I would walk in my calling alone because God has chosen me to do so, but her loving support has made the difference on many a day I needed a shoulder to cry on. She is truly a virtous woman. She has been a wonderful mother to our children. Johna is 23 and teaching in Houston, Texas. Antoine is 20 and serves this great country in the US Army, stationed at Ft. Hood, Texas and Marcus is 15 and a sophomore at Shelby High School. We are so glad that we have found new friends here at Mychurch. Your words of encouragement and testimonies have been so helpful. I am an avid sports fan, loving the Dallas Cowboys, the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Appalachian State Mountaineers.I love golf but don't have much time to play these days. Meldoney enjoys sewing, watching all the home and garden shows and reality TV. We have just a few more years and we will be empty nesters!!!
