My names Salina Marie. Im 19 years young and a member of Valley Bible Fellowship in bakersfield :D. I've been attending the church for about two months now and I love it. I was saved last year, my boyfriend whom was the only christian i knew turned me to God. I was catholic my whole life, but knew it wasnt for me. I've always had a special relationship with the Lord but i didnt know how to expand it though i knew i wanted to. For about a year i've been trying new churches but I still didnt connect with any of them untill i decided to try Valley. I knew a lot of people went there and obviously something was attracting them there. Since the first time i went by myself i loved it. Everyone was so welcoming, a huge family. I knew i belonged there.
Valley bible has helped my family, and im sure will continue to help. Ive brough my father along and now he's building his own relationship with God and that just lights my heart up so much. All i want is for the rest of my family to be saved. My relationship with my mother isnt too good nor has it been, i know its the enemy inside her that hates the God inside me, but i pray she will come around. She's been attending church with me aswell and i have faith our relationship will finally be that loving Mother-daughter relationship i yurn for.
I love my life and wouldnt change it for anything. Friends come and go, and i hope i can make more christian friends cause thats what i really want :] I love my boyfriend and his family treats me so good<3
