Grace and Peace, I'm Pastor Fred Thomas Owens III, Founder and Senior Pastor of the Shepherd's House Fellowship Full Gospel Church Wilson, North Carolina. We are a progressive, innovative,kingdom and mission oriented ministry. Here at the Shepherd's House we welcome people of all races, the unchurch, the sinner, those who feel rejected, those who feel that the traditional church has turnedqa their backs on them, those who have been hurt and those who are seeking a lasting relationship with God. Our goal is to bring hope to those who feel that their situation is hopeless. We are a ministry that values people from various backgrounds and people who are different from us. We are a ministry of reconciliation. Here at the Shepherd's House we place emphasis on soul winning, evangelism, community outreach and quality of life, both personally and professionally. We strive for excellence in all we do for Christ.
As for my personal vision, my goal is to be a blessing to God's people. I believe that the Shepherd's House must be the Life Center and the lighthouse of the community. We must be the heart beat pumping life in our communities. My goal is to move people to new levels as they are assigned to my covering. In addition I seek to improve people's lives by providing ministries that will help people live a spirit-filled life, studying God's word and teaching people to have an ongoing prayer life. I want to see people move forward in educattion, understanding the importance of economic empowerment, becoming debt free and attaining business ownership. (We have a goal that our membership have 100% home ownership and 30% of the membership become business owners). This will be done by building new and positive ministries that will impact every facet of the believer's life.
I believe in building strong families, positive relationships between single Christians, strong men to lead in the home, the community, the church and in their professional careers. One of my top prioritires are to keep families together. Our Healing Hearts Ministry ministers to those who have experienced bad relationships and divorce. Our Soul Mates 4 Life ministers to those who are married. It's the goal of this ministry to build strong marriages within our ministry. We have found that husband and wife teams makes great ministry leadership teams. We are also building strong young people to become future leaders in the church, business and the community. We invest in our young people's lives. Our ministry believes that we must listen to our young people and allow them to serve in the church and allow God to use them to minister to other young people.
