Here is a question: Did Eve commit the first sin? Does the Bible tell us that Eve was the first sinner? Or rather, was Eve the first to have the knowledge of sin? When she and Adam ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, spiritually they died, because they had a knowledge of sin, and this knowledge separated them from God. When Christ died on the cross, did He do away with sin? According to Paul's writings, He died to undo what Adam and Eve caused, which is the knowledge of sin. Paul tells us that we are to die to sin, not that sin dies in us. We are still living, but our knowledge of sin is to die. Was it rather Adam and Eve's knowlege of being naked that caused them to cover themselves, because prior to eating the fruit, they were nude. Was it because of this knowldge of sin, that caused the Lord to drive them from the garden. Was it not because they sinned, but because they had knowlege of sin.

This is almost overwhelming when you think about it. Moses and the people were in the desert, but what was he going to do with them? They had to be fed, and feeding 2 or 3 million people requires a lot of food. According to the Quartermaster General in the Army, it is reported that Moses would have to have had 1500 tons of food each day. Do you know that to bring that much food each day, two freight trains, each at least a mile long, would be required! Besides you must remember, they were out in the desert, so they would have to have firewood to use in cooking the food. This would take 4000 tons of wood and a few more freight trains, each a mile long, just for one day. And just think, they were forty years in transit. And Oh yes! They would have to have water. If they only had enough to drink and wash a few dishes, it would take 11,000,000 gallons each day and a freight train with tank cars, 1800 miles long, just to bring water! And then another thing! They had to get across the Red Sea at night. Now, if they went on a narrow pat h, double file, the line would be 800 miles long and would require35 days and nights to get through. So there had to be a space in the RedSea, 3 miles wide so that they could walk 5000 abreast to get over in onenight. But then, there is another problem...............each time they camped at the end of the day, a campground two-thirds the size of the state of Rhode Island was required, or a total of 750 square miles long........ think of it! This much space for camping. Do you think Moses figured all this out before he left Egypt? I think not! You see, Moses believed in God. God took care of these things for him. Now do you think God has any problem taking care of all your needs? Our God is an Awesome God!! So when the road you're traveling on seems difficult at best, God will do the rest.

Four days ago, on Tuesday 10/13/09, I was driving my son, wife and niece to my son's dentist appointment. About half way there, I start hearing a strange rubbing sound in the front of the car. As I am in the middle of traffic, I am unable to get off the road to look. We were traveling about 45 MPH on a major roadway here in Tulsa. So I decide to just look what could be causing the noise once I got to the dentist office. As I pull off the roadway into the parking lot of the dentists, the car comes to a grinding halt, the front of the car comes crashing down, and I see my front right tire roll past me. We all get out of the car to see what had happened. All five lugs have sheared off. My wife takes my son and niece into the dentist office, while I call AAA. As I am waiting for the tow truck, many people either walk or drive past, staring at what had happened. One family, a mom, son and daughter get out of their car, and the little boy, around 12 years old or so, comes walking over, and hands me a wad of bills. I ask what was this for, and he says they wanted to help. I say thanks so much. After they walk away, I count what they gave me, it is $42.00. They are driving a car that has seen better days, and are going into the Dollar Store, so, this could be a whole lot of money for them. I am so thankful. According to the AAA wrecker driver, it appears that someone had loosed the lug nuts. After getting the car home, my brother and I head to the local parts store, and have a real hard time finding the lug bolts, as the car I drive has been obsolete for a while. We finally find a store that carries 4, but I need 5. so we buys these, and keep looking for one more. We find another store that has one bolt in stock. We also have to buy the lug nuts too. The break disk is not damaged, so I did not have to replace it. After getting all the parts, the grand total for repairing my car is $41.97. Is our Lord awesome!!!!!!!!!!
