Spirit of Truth Christian Church is a very unique place. Our focus is on Jesus Christ, glorifying Him in our bodies, presenting ourselves as living sacrifices, holy, and acceptable. This means putting to death our members which are in the earth and the end of sinful behaviors. In denying ungodliness and worldly lust, we seek to be just like the Lord, without sin. We believe we must be like the Lord, or He will not know us. For us, salvation means that Jesus Christ will really make us free from sin (John 8:34-36). That is His work, His faithfulness toward us, we believe in Him. Doctrine is very important in our Church, we do not accept heretical teachings such as rapture doctrines, eternal torture chambers, "free will," or the trinity. We do not seek or expect to become a great force in the world, not now, but we are making ourselves ready, according to what God is doing right now in the time we live in. We have a responsibility to the generations that follow us; that the next generation should be instructed in the things of God, and ready to serve the generations that follow them. All the things that could be said about our church could occupy a very large space. This is the most hated church in town. Our worship is a laughingstock, a gazingstock. Our preaching drives people away, and casts stumblingblocks before them that stumble at the word, being disobedient whereunto they also were appointed. This is the Lord's work, and it is marvellous.
