I went to school to be an engineer, but in the middle of college I really got to know Jesus. I had grown up in the church but got the idea that it was all about rules. What I could do and what I couldn't do. When I realized it was about knowing and loving and following a living savior, it totally changed my concept of life. So when I graduated I spent a year overseas doing mission work and fell in love with my Lord even more. I returned to the states and got married and started my engineering career, but 3 years later (yeah, I'm slow sometimes) I went to seminary and am now doing what God called me to do. Make Disciples.
So I'm the preacher at New Life. I am a husband. I am a father to my 4 children. I am a devoted disciple of Jesus. I am a disciple maker. |
