The Bible Is God's Eternal Word, and has the answers to ALL life's questions. It is as relevant now as it was 2000 years ago. If you know your Bible, you do not fear the future, you do not fear the world, and your faith is not turned completely upside down any time attacks like the DaVinci Code, the Golden Compass, or when scientists like hickory dickory Dawkins or Hawkins open their mouths. They have not been able to legitimately call the Scriptures into question anymore than all the rest who have tried for the last 2000 years.
Disciples Of Jesus face this world with humilty and respect, but with a whole lotta guts and a fierce ATTITUDE! KNOW THE TRUTH...LET IT SET YOU FREE!

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
Hi! Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. Unfortunately, I don't know any people and don't know if we have any Christian churches right in Arlington. I assume you've found a place to worship by now. I used to know some people at the church in Burke, I know some in Winchester, several of the Fredericksburg/Quantico area churches, Manassas, Warrenton, and Centreville. On the Maryland side, we have friends at the church in Rockville, MD, and some up closer toward Brock Hall & Baltimore. So if you are close to any of those, there are some great churches. I also used to have friends at the Metropolitan Christian Church right in DC, but they were meeting in another church's basement and I'm not sure where they are now. I grew up in a very small church in Culpeper, VA. It's a nice little town. If you get down that way, you can say "hi" to my parents!
Hope you are having a great trip!
