I just wanted to thank everyone again for all the donations of money, time, talent, hard work, determination, the prayers and support of the relay for life team this year. For those who were unable to be at church on Sunday 1st, we had a power point presentation with all of the final totals. We also had a few "awards" we handed out. Our team increased last years total and raised $3,055 this year in fundraisers, sponsorships and a on site fundraiser as well!!! GREAT JOB! FUMC thanks again. We will post some pictures on this site so you can view them. Now let's increase next years total also!!!!!! Beware though, we might want to "ARREST" someone else. Any volunteers??

It was bound to happen. mike joined. i am like a fish out of water with anything other than microsoft word or exel, so i apologize now if i mess up. i even had to ask janet how to do this. by the way, how bout that picture !! isn't she pretty??

This site is pretty neat. Just wanted to plug in one last reminder about the relay. I put it on the church events and in the calendar. PLEASE come and join us, even if you did not sign up to walk, this is the church's team. We are just the feet that will do the walking. Thank you again to everyone for their prayers and their donations. Thank you to Pastor Dennis for being the good sport he is and agreeing to be arrested!! We will have a power point presentation during the first service on July 1st with all the totals and some pictures from the relay.I hope everyone can be there to find out how much our team raised. In case know one knows, we are walking in honor of any church member (or their family members) who is a survivor of cancer. We will have the list of survivors at the site also.We hope that this will be an uplifting time for everyone. Thanks again. God Bless you all.

Hello All
I will be heading for LVT Training in Tulsa , OK on 6/18 and will return Late 6/22.This was a last minute thing so I might miss a few things while I am gone.Kim told me she had everything under control as for the kids but if anyone wants to just check on them please feel free to give her a call.If you need to get ahold of me you can call my cell phone after 5pm.

Please come to callahan on June 22 & 23 for the Relay for Life. On Friday night they will have a survivors walk and luminary ceremony. Sara & I are walking for FUMC Tower of Survivor. This event is very special to my family because I have 2 sisters & my mom with cancer. My sister sherry died of Breast cancer that had spread to her liver.
