About Me

Hello! my name is," Tina Williams". I've been married for 26 years now. An my husband name is Marvin; we have three sons, Ryan, Marvin, and Joshua. I've been saved now for many years. An I love the Lord God with all my heart. I love the Word of God, too. I'm a worshipper at heart. I really do enjoy praise and worship. Well, I guess, I'm like David; he was a worshipper you know; and he loved to praise the Lord. It's great when the Spirit of the Lord drops a song in your heart. I realize that the joy of the Lord is my strength!

My Thoughts: My desire for this new year is to get deeper into the things of God. It's a new beginning. A time of reflecting. On all that God has done for us. He has been so very good to all of us. An I Thank Him for Keeping Me. So as we've all entered into 2008 it's become a time to reflect back on all that God has done in our life. It's a time to be restored and renewed in the things of God.

Question - Ask yourself: Are you a called out one? Is there a calling of God on your life? Is God speaking to you?

My Thoughts: We must stand out from the world. Separated...... An our hearts cry should be: Read in Psa. 80. v 3, v7 and v 19

Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved! v7 {Restore} - Turn us again, O God of Hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved! and in v 19 Turn us again, O Lord God of Hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved! Is there a increased urgency for God to intervene in your life? My God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that I could possibly imagine. We can't even imagine all the things our God wants to do for us. All we have to do is surrender our heart, mind, soul, body, emotions; etc... our all to Him.

  • Praise God in his Sanctury!
  • Praise Him in His mighty firmament!
  • Praise Him for His mighty acts!
  • Praise Him according to His excellent greatness!
  • Praise him with the sound of he trumpet!
  • Praise Him with the harp!
  • Praise Him with the trimbrel and dance!
  • Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes!
  • Praise Him with loud cymbals!
  • Praise Him with clashing cymbals!

Let everything that has breath, " Praise the Lord".

Your Sister in Christ, Tina Williams

Encourage one another daily
VERSE: Encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today..... Hebrews 3:13

THOUGHTS: Today - if you knew this was your final day on earth, how would you feel? What would you do? What would you say? Who would you see? This is not an easy thing to think about. Many have been diagnosed with a deadly disease and are forced to realize their days are numbered. We need to recognize that our days are numbered. God could choose to come for us this very moment. Only He knows His plan for your time here on earth. However, I want to encourage you to take steps today to share with your family, friends, co-workers and yes, even your enemies all God has done for you. Encourage them to come to know Him as their personal Lord and Savior.

Each morning my intentions begin thinking I'll do something good for the glory of God. I pray that God will allow me to show Jesus to others. That I can share and reveal the truth of the gospel to someone that doesn't know God. For me to bring light to this dark world. I want to witness and encourage others for the glory of God. However, my friends, my intentions are usually short lived. I get to work, become busy in my work and daily tasks, go home and prepare dinner and spend a little time with family, watch TV with them, listen to the radio or read. Then I spend a few moments with God since I am usually exhausted by the end of the day. This scripture reminded me this morning, that our purpose is not just to do the busy work of our job's and take care of all the things we have to do at home. Our purpose is to encourage those of us in the faith and share the steps of salvation to those that aren't Christians yet. Be encouraged today that your purpose is much more then you even know. God's plan includes you. You are an important part of sharing His gospel,. Please take time to go forth and preach the gospel my friends. You can do this by your words and by your actions. Jesus in you is what others need to see TODAY. Today is a precious gift from God, use it wisely. God bless.

1 Thessalonia 5:1-3
But of the times and seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourself know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape...

1Thessalonians 4:6
Therefore let us not sleep as do others; but let us Watch and be sober...

For I am persuaded, that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to seperate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Trusting is the Key! What did YOU do this weekend?

VERSE: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths….Proverbs 3:5-6

This scripture constantly challenges me. If we trust the Lord why do we still try to do things on our own without seeking His advice? We pray, but forget to wait for the answer. We try to open doors that He is gently closing. We think we know what is best for us. We become impatient waiting on Him, so we forge on. When we fail to trust and wait, we find ourselves cleaning up the mess we ve made or pay the consequences to our poor decisions.

Trust, wait, seek, and acknowledge that God is the only one that knows what is best for us. He gives you peace if the answer is from Him and not confusion and turmoil. He provides strength to say no when your heart wants to say yes. He provides open doors and closed doors for our protection. Whatever you are seeking today, trust God by praying and seeking His answer by spending time with Him . All the answers you need are found in His powerful written book, the bible. Don t allow dust to cover your bible, open it, write in it, feel His presence. It s very powerful and will direct you if you only take the time. God bless.

 Keep the Emotional Tank Full

VERSE: Happy are those who long to be just and good, for they shall be completely satisfied.
(Matthew 5:6)

THOUGHTS: Every important relationship you have should be an opportunity to ask yourself, How can I keep this person s emotional tank full? Try to discover what the people around you need. People have different ways they express and receive love. We all have different kinds of needs and different ways that these needs are best met. These differences are part of what make our relationships exciting and fulfilling! Take the time to find out what your mate needs and how you can best meet those needs. Not only will this work in marriage, but in every other relationship of your life. You ll grow closer to your children, have more meaningful and fulfilling friendships, and find that your life takes on a new dimension and purpose when you focus on caring for others.

PRAYER: God, I thank You for thinking so much of us. You loved us enough to give us everything. Give me strength so that I may look to fill the emotional tanks of others around me. Thank You for putting these special people in my life. In Jesus name. Amen.

Verse: "Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, and today and forever." Hebrews 13:8

One of the things I have always looked for, longed for in relationships, whether they be romantic, platonic, or family, is a sense of security. That sense that a person will always be there for me, will always love me, will always be the same, in other words, steadfast and predictable. Therefore, eliminating surprises such as them one day leaving me, falling short of my expectations. What I never realized until today sitting here writing this is that to expect that level of security from a human being, myself included where others seek the same in me, is unrealistic. Think about it on a Christian level. As we grow and mature in our walk with Christ, we change. Our thinking changes and our heart changes. As these things about us begin to change so does our lifestyle based on choices we are now making for ourselves in Christ. Because we change it is impossible for us as humans to provide a person with that total level of security that we so often expect from one another. No one walking around on this earth can protect us from all hurt, harm and danger nor will they always be willing to. Even as parents it is impossible for us to protect our children from all hurt, harm, and danger nor are we always willing to and if you say that you have never let your child learn at least one lesson the hard way , you lie. So, if you can t put your total faith in man, who can you depend on? The answer is Jesus Christ, the Son of God he author and finisher of our faith.

As I study and grow in my walk with Christ, I am learning more and more the only person I can and am to totally trust in, believe in, know will always be there for me, is Jesus. No man/woman can provide me with the level of security that Jesus can and it is unfair and unrealistic of me to expect that of my brothers and sisters and dishonest of me to claim to be able to give it. Does that mean I can t love or be loved by a

DREAM BIG, for nothing is impossible with GOD!

Habakkuk 2: 1-3

Then the LORD answered me and said:

“Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it;
Because it will surely come,
It will not tarry.

Ever had a dream in your heart that won’t go away?  Write it down.  In writing it down, you make yourself accountable for it, for taking steps toward that dream.  Even if it seems elusive...  Perhaps your purpose is in your dream, or maybe, your written vision will lead you to your purpose.  Even if it seems the dream dies, it truly never does.  Take King David as an example.

David wanted to build a house to the Lord. He had the vision; however, Solomon was the one to accomplish it.  It doesn’t mean David was a failure.  It simply meant the Lord (a) gave a glimpse of someone else’s purpose to David and (b) David passed along the tools to get the job done.  David may have been disappointed, but David’s job was done by having a vision and seeing what could be and should be…as in, not giving up hope that it would be done…even if not by his hands.  Think about Malcolm X or Martin Luther King, Ghandi, or Mandela.  Or even Jesus, the long awaited Messiah and High Priest.  These greats (aside from Jesus) were not the first to have a vision of equality or peace.  I’m sure those who birthed and cared for these dynamic leaders had dreams of the same, however, their visions of progression affected those people in a manner to get the job done, even though they were not the ‘spotlight’ vessel to carry out the task.

Don’t give up, even though it may seem as though your vision, or dream, will not come true.  Live your life in faith that what the Lord has said to you about your vision will come to pass, if not now, then in future generations.  The Lord puts dreams in us to motivate and move us forward.  Who knows, you may be the David to a Solomon you’ve never met.

HAVE A BLESSED WEEK! Fight the good fight

VERSE: "Test me, O Lord, and try me, examine my heart and my mind; for your love is ever before me, and I walk continually in your truth." (Psalms 26:2)

THOUGHTS: Anyone can be obedient, keep a good attitude and stay full of joy when things are going well. But what kind of attitude do you have when times get tough and things don't go your way? Will you stay faithful and keep pressing on even when it seems you're making no progress?

Sometimes God allows trials to test us, to refine and purify our faith. Remember – anyone can quit. Anyone can complain. But God is looking for people who will persevere until the very end. Stand strong and fight the good fight of faith. When you do you live a life of abundance and you will be a champion in life!

PRAYER: God, I have what it takes to overcome adversity and arise victorious! I know You will never disappoint me and will be present in troubled times. I am determined to have an attitude of gratitude no matter what I face. In Jesus' Name – Amen.

Let hope fill your heart

VERSE: I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten. (Joel 2:25)

THOUGHTS: Do you want to be set free from bitterness and resentment? All you need to do is keep your heart pure and start each day by letting go of the baggage of the past. Don t try to collect a debt from others that only God can pay. If you ll leave it up to Him, God will return to you more than what you have lost.

God is on your side! He wants you to feel good about yourself and have a positive vision for your life. After all, God knows when you have a heart to please Him. And as you continue to please Him, you ll experience that life of victory He has in store for you.

PRAYER: God, This is going to be a great day! I thank You that I m going to do what I need to do to let go of the past, that I have discipline and self-control, and that I can make good decisions. In Jesus Name – Amen.

Be future focused!

VERSE: "The Lord's compassions never fail. They are new every morning." (Lamentations 3:22-23)

THOUGHTS: God promises you new mercies each morning. That means even though you may have done something last week that you're not proud of, you don't have to carry that around with you. You simply need to receive God's mercy and forgiveness today and go on.

Dream a new dream. God still has great things in store for you. But you have to do your part and keep pursuing it. Keep believing for God's best. Don't settle for second best, not good enough, or barely getting by. God wants to give you the very best for the brightest future you could possibly imagine!

PRAYER: God, I thank You for burying my past in the sea of Your forgetfulness and forgiveness. I'm asking for Your fresh mercies today. I'm asking You to pour out Your favor and blessings on my life. In Jesus' Name – Amen.
