I know His Love is within us, it's just a matter as to who hears Him call.
I listen to people so full of fear from bad decisions they've made, drown out the truth of His gift of love.
Hiding in the shadows of Satan's deceit, being bribed with the "In God We Trust" that goes into a bank, instead of the "In God we Trust" that is given freely. Without conditions, with an interest rate beyond what a bank can meet!
For the corruption I have seen and heard, and the Revelations foretelling of the 2nd coming,
I feel, His return has already had the carpet laid out for Him.
Don't look around. You can't put that genie back in the bottle.
Look within, that's where you need to be ready. |

29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Pastor Jerry Hanson suggested that verse to me on a very bad day. As each day goes by, the foretelling of the expected end draws closer.
My walk with the Lord has been a gentle crawl for years. The situations He's brought me thru, with the suffering and hate, has all been to test my Faith in His Love. His promises. He's brought both good and bad people into and out of my life. Those moments of time, when paths crossed, no matter how big or small the transactions were, have all been pieces of His puzzle.
I try, with His help, to make a difference in others' lives for the better. That's not easy to do. Some people have such misery in their own lives, their desperate quest for happiness draws upon yours. Your only defense is prayer.
I would like to one day see the same kind of happiness and celebration, announcements made publicly as people make their committment to the Lord. Like weddings, engagements, mergers. A Re-Birth Announcement Column!
So much of this world is based on materialistic promises and property. Isn't your SOUL more precious than anything we have here? Is our Faith so weakened by all the evil in the world today, that we fail to realize it can still 'move mountains'? It still can. It still does. The 'mountains' just look different now. They represent obsticals in our lives that appear to be greater to cross than we think we can do.
This is why we need prayers.
Praying for strength of the love of God can replenish us in times of weakness. Times when Satan has just kept on coming at us, unrelenting, and trying to make us depend on ourselves instead of Trusting in the Lord. When people that we believe are our friends go down the wrong path and make bad decisions, we need to pray with them. Pray FOR them. That while they stray they will be protected as God teaches them the lesson they need to learn. |
