I have no idea where time has gone. In two weeks I'm back at school. I'm excited about a new school year in a brand new school, but it seems like the summer only started yesterday. I have really enjoyed being home and spending time with our grandchildren. Taylor, Ethan, and Chase have been a delight. God has blessed us so much. Caleb came home this weekend. It was so nice to see him. We miss him and we enjoy it when he is here. He has 3 more weeks of working at beautiful Camp Grandview, then he will be home about a week or so and pack and leave for college. We know God has wonderful blessings in store for him. Ginny & Alan have been busy, busy, busy. Summer is VERY busy for Coke Products, so Alan has been putting in long hours. Fourth of July week he would leave home about 4:45 am and not get home till nearly 9 some nights. Needless to say the 4th wasn't very relaxing for him. Ginny had been snowed under with classes and homework. She even made the comments that homework was her new HOBBY!!! Poor thing. She'll be just as busy when school starts cause then she'll be working and going to school. GOD IS GOOD!! Matthew and Kim have been busy with the boys. Kim has a new job that will start August 4. She will be teaching computer lab at The Adult Education Center in Oakwood. She's excited and scared. I think she's gonna love it. Matthew's starting to think about September and deer hunting. It's gonna be hard with three kids. Pray that he has wisdom in his choices. Tommy & I just got back from Charleston. We had a wonderful time. What a romantic and historical city. We visited Fort Sumter, Four Plantations, Angel Oak(1500 year old live oak), a few Old Churches and Graveyards and ate great lowcountry foods. What more could we ask for?

Well Today is Friday June 20. Tommy, Caleb and I are making our way to Piedmont College so Caleb can regester for fall classes. It seems like this day is coming way too fast. Only yesterday we were bringing him home to our family. Excited to have another blessing from Heaven. We are happy for him and proud of him. Pray that he will continue to stay focus on what God wants for his life. The summer is slipping away from me. I had so many plans. Projects I wanted to get done and so far I haven't done any of them. I have been able to spend alot of time with the little boys. Taylor is here most weekdays so we have gone to the pool and he has hit golfballs in the back yard before it gets too hot. Ethan like to ride the three wheeler up and down the driveway and throw balls. And Chase is growing like a weed. He is more aware of his surroundings every day. We are so blessed. Ginny is going to school this summer and Alan is staying pretty busy with Coke. We hardly see them with their busy schedules. Matthew & Kim are busy parents. Kim will be going back to work soon, so she's a little bummed about that. She is looking for another job that will free her up on nights and weekends. Pray for them. Maybe she will find something soon. Caleb is at Camp Grandview for the summer. He loves it there. He enjoys the company of friends, gets to be ourdoors all day, and the fishing is a plus too. Although he doesn't have alot of time to fish. Tommy & I are hoping to take a few days to ourselves in July. Right now our only plans are to be together. ANY SUGGESTIONS???? God bless.

Our family is celebrating and mourning today. Tommy's Mama, Patricia Ann Nix has been promoted to Glory. She came to the arms of Jesus Sunday June 8. We will miss her. She was a loving and caring women. Her family meant the world to her and she meant the world to us. Pray for us all at this time. She will be met in Heaven by 3 children, loving parents, 1 brother and a loving husband. She will be greatly missed by those of us she leaves behind, but we rejoice that one day we will see her again. GOD IS GOOD.

Congress was just Amazing!
Did you experience the moving of the Holy Spirit this weekend?
I most certainly did. For the first time in a long time, I no longer feel alone! God has great plans for me and I feel renewed in Him after this weekend.
Personally, I plan on continuing to "Go Deeper with God". How about you? It isn't over you know!!!!!!!

Wow!!! Has this month been busy. We have a new family member. Chase Grayson Nix. He weighed 8lbs. 15 oz. and was 20&1/2 inches long. Of course he's beautiful!!! He went to the Dr. yesterday and he's gained a pound and has grown 2 inches!!! It looks like football could be in his future. We are so blessed. I'm out of school now and enjoying the summer. I love being at home and being able to cook and enjoy my family. Caleb is getting ready to leave for camp. He leaves Monday. I think he loves Camp Grandview just like the rest of us. We get to have Taylor this summer. He is with Matthew & Kim right now and we will have him while Victoria works. We are so excited about that. We miss him since he moved to Dawsonville.
147:1 Praise ye Jehovah; For it is good to sing praises unto our God; For it is pleasant, `and' praise is comely. 147:2 Jehovah doth build up Jerusalem; He gathereth together the outcasts of Israel. 147:3 He healeth the broken in heart, And bindeth up their wounds. 147:4 He counteth the number of the stars; He calleth them all by `their' names. 147:5 Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite. 147:6 Jehovah upholdeth the meek: He bringeth the wicked down to the ground. 147:7 Sing unto Jehovah with thanksgiving; Sing praises upon the harp unto our God, 147:8 Who covereth the heavens with clouds, Who prepareth rain for the earth, Who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.
