Lost my nephew-to-be

I JUST found out my sister-in-law, who was 4 months pregnant, had an infection, lost a lot of blood & lost the baby (boy). Of course, anyone who's had a miscarriage understands the pain & they were really excited to finally be pregnant again. My sister-in-law is not in great health & has had some complications & so please pray for her health; both physical and mental. They are Christians (Church of Christ), so they know Jesus personally. Pray for my brother, Geoff as well. Just for God to comfort them. My parents too. Just the family. My little 4 year old nephew is content to know his little brother floated off to heaven, so that's a blessing. Thanks, all. Crappy news.

OMG this is still waaay too fresh for me. I will keep them in my prayers and they are on my list until you tell me that they are on the firm road to healing over this. Laura, btw I still get out the card you sent to me in my time of this trial and still find peace hope and healing in the words God gave you to write to me... I will be praying for you too sis, I know you will be great comfort for them in a time such as this.

30 years have passed since my son was stillborn, and I have comfort, only God can give comfort, and I am thankful to know they have the Lord. Funny thing, by morning...Jesus could return for us and they will be with him. Did they choose a name? I will certainly pray. Some things touch me more than others, guess we are all that way, this type of thing ,,,just does.

I had a miscarriage almost 40 years ago and it was very difficult emotionally, but God is a healer and in time the pain went away. A few years later we had a healthy son who is now an adult. Perhaps now that the infection has cleared out your sister-in-law will be able to conceive again but of course she and Geoff will always remember their special little son who waits for them in Heaven.
