It could be kidneys, it could be something else.

As some of you may know, I've mentioned from time-to-time that I creak like an old gate. I've taken this for granted as being a sign of old age creeping in, and I laugh it off. Its also been a standing joke within my family, don't phone Steve up after 8 o'clock - cos odds-on favourite he'll be fast asleep. This I have also laughed off. What is NOT a laughing matter, over some weeks now, maybe a few months - I've had severe doses in lack of concentration, SOMETIMES even forgetting about stuff. On that last basis I decided to go to the doctors to see what might be the problem. Without putting a too finer point on it, although undergoing blood tests to find out what's going on, they're all classic signs of renal failure. 2 years ago - and for a LONG time before that - I was at stage 2 of stage 3. These tests I've had this week (results coming in next week) will determine if its jumped to stage 3 of 3, all mapped-out as classic signs when it comes to renal failure. It could be something, it could be nothing. Nothing meaning, nothing to worry about. But there again - it could be something totally unrelated. So I'm asking people to pray about this - that its NOT something on top of all the other things that I'm having to deal with. Its one thing creaking like an old gate, and I can handle the joking side of falling asleep. But its quite another when you think you're losing the plot.

Very few have the wit you do in the midst of trials, part of your everlasting charm. "quite another when you think you're losing the plot" is what I am referring to along with "creaky gate"
On the serious side of it, I am encouraged that our Father knows the plot and He loves YOU. I will spend time with Him asking our Lord to intervene oun your behalf. Stevie, you make this planet a whole lot better to be on. I am so thankful to know you from the bottom of my heart. You have blessed me a thousand fold. Deep love for you friend, juanita

Update: I've just come back from the quacks. All tests results are in, and 99.9% of them have come back normal. Kidney function being 41% - which apparently for me - is normal. The one that is not normal - is the white cell blood count, which indicates infection. Infection could be related to pressure sores which I have been battling against for 2 months now, that when related to me feeling whacked-out all the time - could be the reason behind it. So tests are being repeated, and if that is the underlying reason, I may have to take a considerable amount of time off work to get rid of it. So... as some of you may know, that may not be too difficult - as I lose my job at the end of this month, which will be another "pressure" problem - as people like myself have to forget about all that, and let's see how best "we" can get you back into work. With all things considered, its been one thing after another - especially these past 5 years. So from one "normal" person to another, thanks for all your prayers. At least one thing has shown up - that I'm not as batty as a fruitcake, and for now - not losing the plot.

Father God, It is Stevie Bee I lovingly lift to you dear God. If anybody has said Joyful Servant makes creaky noises its only cuz when she sings to You, she makes a joyful noise like the rest of us. Please keep your hand of protection on these loving people, any ailments, I lift to you. You know all of us need healing. Its in Your Holy Name I pray. Amen.
