Pray for Joe's Mom

UPDATe 11/07 - Joe's Mom (Ruby) passed away yesterday evening at her home in Arizona. Please continue to pray for the family as they deal with all the things that need to be taken care of this next week. Joe is sad but glad that he at least got to spend some time with her when he went out to visit a few weeks ago. Thanks for all your prayers. UPDATED 10/5: Ruby decided at the last minute to decline the surgery to amputate the leg below the knee. The doctors had no choice but to send her home from the hospital. Joe's sister thinks she is just giving up. She is back home and on home health care...heavy antibiotics to try and fight the MRSA and pain meds. If she continues to decline they will transition to hospice. Joe will go out this weekend to stay for a few days with her. Please continue to pray for her. Thanks.

Dear Father, I pray for Ruby that you will be with her as she will be having surgery. I pray that her body will be able to fight off infections and that her cells will work fast to produce healing. Be with the Doctors that they may not make any mistakes. Your hand is mighty in power... care for Ruby and make her well! In the name of Jesus... Amen

Lord, give Ruby wisdom to do what is best for her health. Help her family through this very difficult time. Wayne and I know about amputations. His mother was a diabetic and had her left leg amputated three times, if you include the toes first. Its very hard on the patient, obviously, and the family.

UPDATE 7 NOV.......Joe's mom (Ruby) passed away yesterday evening (Nov 6) at her home in Arizona. We'll be flying out Sunday to be with them and help make arrangements. Please continue to pray for the family during this next week. Thanks.
