Prayer Request for LAURA ~ Urgent ~~
|

I spoke with "Laura" this morning - (You all may remember we worked together at the same company that laid us both off) - she was very distraught this morning and fighting back tears....from anger, lack of adult interaction (Friendship (s), her ex was suppose to have came and gotten the children and he refused to take them, she is on her last weeks of unemployment, is barely surviving, and just needs mountains of prayer right now. She spoke of when she was not living in "him" that she was a sinner doing drugs, and lived in sin with a boyfriend, and her son walked up to her and told her maybe she needed to go back to that lifestyle so she would be happy again.........I reminded her of God's love, and that sometimes our Faith is surely tested by our Father...and not to let those thoughts harbor her emotions again and control her. Laura needs a break from the kids but she has no one to help her. Her father and mother divorced many years ago and her parents both live out of town. As I mentioned Chris her ex-husband does everything in his power to make her feel bad. He is so many months behind on child support and refuses to help at all. I ask you all to please pray for Laura and keep her in prayer for the next few weeks. She is going through alot right now. Laura is a beautiful child of God and Satan wants her back. (her birthday is on this coming Tuesday - if you can please email her a birthday card, note, etc. I am worried about her.( LauraGibson@usa.com)God Bless,

I will certainly do so. She is away from her church now? She did have a lot of church friends. I know she is strong in her faith and she prayed and lifted my spirits many times. Thanks for the update, Lynne, praying for you and Allen in your new trials as well.

This prayer was posted in September - she is back in Church and very happy..She does need a job still and recently was in Court again w/her ex for Child Support issues again. Laura is a strong person. I appreciate your prayers.

-Psalms 9.9- Lord, raise Laura up to the highest heavens, give her love and light, courage and strength by Christ! Don't allow the evil one anything, Jesus please nab Laura, and take her away! Amen!
