PRAISE: Church is still my refuge. Daddy God knows the plans he has for me. PRAY: Mike needs motivation for the loss of a few more inches (We are doing P90X). Promotion eligibility for Mike depends on it. Mike will be deploying around end of year. Mike and I need time with one another before his deployment but we're the same people who've had one real date night in 13 years of marriage. Both kids are struggling as they learn discipline, responsibility, and emotional control. All Military Families (and those who support them) need strength, guidance and comfort. Lord, wrap your arms around us tighter than usual. PERSONAL: I am struggling with the thought that a volunteer position I've had for four years and is my passion is being turned over to another person soon. I need grace and composure during the transition. Finance and tithing, relationships and time management continue to be areas I must refine and learn better discipline. Anyone who would volunteer to be an accountability partner would be appreciated. As you read this, forgive me for repetition. You can see the areas I truly struggle with.
