Father, we lift up the elderly now and ask that you send hand and feet to care for them, send your church to minister, particulaly within each member's own family and forgive me for not being as attentive to my mother's emotional needs. Help me to be more understanding to her for she is really like as unto a child and needs special nurturing. Forgive me for my selfishness.

Father, I join with my sisters and brothers in agreement...please, provide an abundance of your loving grace and blessings over all the elderly and ill. Give their bodies warmth, strength, health. Give their minds clarity, love and their hearts happiness. Please provide for their shelter/food and finances Lord. Keep them in all areas. Annoint this year to be one filled with love as we approach Christmas and Thanksgiving. Reminding their families that they are an important member of their lives. Let them take the time to spend and visit with them...bring grandchildren and neighbors ...all families together in your presence!
