Prayers requested for Dave Hamm, in the hospital

Prayers are urgently requested for my friend, Dave Hamm (http://www.mychurch.org/datm), who is in the hospital with symptoms supposedly associated with the degenerative disorder (MELAS) that he has been suffering with for the past few years. ...............UPDATE: Dave's condition is currently stable. He is at home, and continues to live w/the pain, discomfort, and limitations his MELAS put him under. Please keep him on your prayer list. I will delete this prayer shortly, and future prayer will again be requested only in the event of emergencies or severe downturns in his condition. Thank you, fellow saints.

May Dave be healed from the inside, out!

Father God in your wisdom and mercy I ask you to heal and help Dave Hamm. I don't know what this MELAS is Lord but it sounds like Dave is in seriously bad condition. I know that you are not restricted by our conditions or circumstances Lord but you have the power to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the wiles of the evil one against your children. Oh Lord I ask a hedge of protection around Dave now. Keep him from further erosion and heal him and make him stronger day by day. Extend his time Father for the sake of his family and loved ones. Comfort all of them who are grieving and mourning this sickness Father and show them your mighty hand. To you be all the glory forever and ever. We praise your mighty name and we pray and ask all things in faith, in Jesus' precious name, Amen.

Lord, you did not leave us helples. I can barely make an apple pie turn out right but you entrusted me to call on your name and unleash Heavenly power, your angels to ministter and your word to heal and I am asking for this brother's friend Dave, another brother , faithful...give him his testimony but we ask Lord for it to be a healing one so he can help bring in that harvest.
