We believe the great Protestant reformation was a movement of God which led the body of Christ to recover orthodox, New Testement theology.  Unfortunately, the work of restoring the Church to apostolic, New Testement church practices has not been widely realized.  Thankfully, more and more believers are rediscovering these truths and putting them into practice.
These include: no clergy or laity distinctions, meeting in homes, participatory/interactive meetings and the Lord's Supper observed at each weekly meeting as a full meal. 

We seek to promote the unity of the Christian Church and thus eschew local church "membership" rolls which tend to divide Christ's Body.  Becoming a "member" of this MyChurch site is a only a convenience to advance communication, fellowship and networking with like-minded believers.

We also think naming a local house church is not conducive to Church unity, however we had to name this MyChurch site something so we picked the generic "Valley House Fellowship"
