Well First off my name is Joseph Steven Arellano.... I am 23 years old and I have lived in Bakersfield almost my whole life. So my testimony is something that I cherish more than all my possessions. Through my life religon was never something that was pushed my mother figured back then that if I fell into it then that would be good. My mom would read from a childrens bible she bought me nightly. When I was younger I went a few times to a church with my cousin Justin and his dad Eddy. At that time though I could never really get myself intereted. In my early teens I was a horrible person I was one of those people who blasted God, if he is real kind of deal. I thought he should have just left me to be all alone but he wasn't done yet. Around Feb. of this year my cousin Justin had been going to VBF for awhile and durring one night he asked me if I would like to go one time and give it a chance. I said sure yet there was something that he caught on to quick. He asked me what it was I said I felt as though I didn't deserve God's garce after all I have said before when I was young. After about two more weeks I kept my word in March I attend my first Wednesday service and I feel in love with it. Soon I was attending Wed. and Sun. services every week. I never did give my life to Christ in church I did in the presance of my bible study group. It was April 29, 2007 the greatest day of my life. Ever since then so many good things have come into my life and with that also bad things but that sthe struggle I must go through to become the best that I can be. I know that my years to come will be so great with God there and I hope to bring so many more to salvation with his help.
