The purpose of Veal Baptist Church is to love God, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, to assemble ourselves together in the unity of the Holy Spirit, to strive always for peace and spiritual growth among ourselves, and to minister unselfishly to the needs of all people within our community.

At Veal Baptist Church, the study of God’s word is paramount to our overall Christian Education objectives. Because we believe so strongly in the power of God’s Word to impact the lives of His people, we provide Bible Study opportunities for preschool through senior adults. Our Sunday School is age graded and utilizes a curriculum which is application-based and needs-oriented.
AWANA
In addition to the regular Sunday Bible Study program, Veal Baptist Church offers a Wednesday night Bible Study and called AWANA. The AWANA program is based upon 2 Timothy 2:15…”Approved Workmen are Not Ashamed”. AWANA is a club-oriented program designed to help children from ages 3yrs old through 7th Grade memorize and understand scriptures from God’s Holy Word.
Children’s Church Ministry
Understanding God’s word can be difficult at any age. At Veal Baptist Church we provide our Children ages 4 –12 the opportunity to worship on their level. Children’s Church offers a fun, yet Biblical, approach to help young minds comprehend what God has to say.
Women’s Ministry
Today’s Christian Women need a set aside time to worship, study, pray and fellowship with each other. At Veal Baptist Church you will find our ladies work together to accomplish great things in Christ’s name.
Music Ministry
The Bible tells us to “Make a Joyful Noise unto the Lord all ye nations.” For those who spend their days humming and singing, Veal Baptist Church has a ministry for you. There are several ways to serve God through song… ** Adult Choir, Adults of all ages blending voices together for the glory of the Lord through Southern Gospel and Convention style of music.
* Drama Team, A group of dedicated young people (ages 13&up) whose goal is to minister through song and movement in a more contemporary style of praise and worship. * Jr. Drama Team, Young people (ages 4-12) joining together and learning to worship through song.

No matter which musical group you attend, you will find we are all here to worship and sing praises to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!!!!
Teen Ministry
Our Teens (8th-12th grade) have a place to turn to for guidance with the issues they face in today’s world. The Teen leaders at Veal Baptist Church are very attentive to the needs of this age group. Our leaders provide Bible driven instructional learning as well as planned Christian activities, retreats, and conferences. |
