13 years ago I stumbled across the truth. One day our eyes will close and we will step into an eternity that some believe does not exist. A person would think it foolish if I stated that if I placed a piece of metal in a garage and came back in 2 million years there would be a car there. Or if I said that I will slowly expose a fish to air over the next 2000 years it so it will grow lungs. Interestingly enough written history only goes back 6000 years...and during all of that time a fish out of water dies. Interestingly enough carbon dating is only accurate up to a little over 6000 years. In a lab we consider constants in all experiments. Things that stay the same during trials so the result is not tarnished. Consider this...the car sitting in your garage is proof there is a designer, whether you know him or not. The fact that you are sitting here means you were created...whether you know your creator or not. People ignorantly believe that the Bible and science cannot coexist...they are incorrect.
True science merely repeats what the Bible has already stated. As far as evolution...it takes more faith to believe in evolution than it does to accept God as the creator. Scientific law number 1 life can only be created by life. Evolution is scientifically impossible. If then God exists, there is only one source to find Him...His Word. People ignorantly assume it is nothing but letters written by man. They are wrong. It has been proven that man could not mathematically have written the Bible...the odds are none. The numerical locks cannot have been written by man. Why then do people refuse to accept the truth??? Because it means we have to live to a higher standard...that self fulfillment is no longer the priority. It means we have to admit we are lacking and in need. I have news for you...we are insufficient in ourselves and we need. I found out that God desired to know me intimately and wanted to walk my life with me and was not ashamed of my shortcomings but was ready to walk through them with me if I would let Him...that Jesus thought of my name on the cross and shed blood for me...and you Here are some truths:
1) God cannot look upon sin. He is perfect.
2) We all have sinned...and if we wish to be judged as being a "good person" we will be judged according to our actions...and the Bible says if we are guilty of breaking one little part we are guilty of all...that one wrong undoes every right.
3) Our sin therefore separates us from Him
4) The wages of our sin is death
5) There is NO WAY that we can be made whole in ourselves...we are all guilty...BUT...
6) God loves us so much that He came to earth as man to be the sacrifice of death for us WHILE WE WERE IN SIN...so that through His sacrifice, we could be made whole again and brought back before God.
7) If we accept His sacrifice and accept our guilty verdict...we die to our sins and are "born again" in Christ...not by works which will ultimately fail...but by faith in Jesus.
I received that truth and accepted the full value of the cross...and will carry it as long as I live without shame. I am defined in it...by it. You can do the same. Every knee shall bow...every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. We get to decide when and where. It will be too late when we are dead. The end!
